Zikhone - a well-hidden gem
Luckily Zikhone village is just the essential stone throw off the Yangon-Gwa-Ngapali main road to breathe perfect peace. Zikhone counts 100 village houses along its few, shaded alleyways. Our lodge is directly on the beach. Surrounded by unspoilt nature you may swim and spend relaxing days in your hammock. You can discover our snorkelling grounds and take extensive walks along white beaches and through green hills. For the adventurous, we offer varied day trips up nearby rivers into the Arakan Mountains.
Off the beaten track but easy to find!
We are 280 km from Yangon and 120 km from Ngapali. To find us, you must turn off from the main road linking the two at the village of Nyaung Chaung, 18 km north of Gwa / 8 km south of Kanthayar.
